Q: What is the usual delivery time of an average order?
A: We will try to keep inventory for small quantity orders. In this case, the order will be shipped out when received.
Larger orders may require that we make another production run which usually has a factory lead time of 1-2 weeks. Delivery will be within 3-4 weeks.
Q: How will my order be shipped?
A: We will usually take advantage of the USPS flat rate box considering the fact we are mailing steel parts that can
quickly add up in weight. Each box will hold approximately 8 pieces +/- and costs $12 which includes our handling fee to cover shipping materials. In the case of larger orders, a freight service may
be contracted. Again, it is to the advantage of the purchaser to prepay the order and shipping will be included at our expense.
Q: What does the VHR mount include and what do I need to mount a headrest printer as pictured on this site?
A: CAB Solutions only manufactures and sells the mounting option/bracket for $135 per mount. Our mount is designed as a
general mounting platform which agencies have decided to use as a printer mount. In order to mount a printer in place of your head rest, you will need a Ledco (Havis) printer armrest (part# C-ARPB-110) or a Gamber-Johnson printer armrest(part# 7160-0006) and the corresponding Pentax Pocketjet printer. Pentax Pocketjet 2,3, and 6 work well in these armrests. These armrests bolt directly to our product and the whole assembly can replace the space previously occupied by the passenger side head rest.
This is not a safety device. Further, most states have a procurement agency that usually has a mobile data hardware/software vendor contracted to
provide equipment at a discounted price. Most units of government can take advantage of these purchasing contracts.
